The Town of Morrisville’s new Fire Station No. 2 is a one-story, 16,298-square-foot facility designed to strengthen emergency response for the town and Wake County. It includes two double-deep, pull-through apparatus bays and a third bay for Wake County EMS. Interior spaces include offices, gear and equipment storage, a tool/workroom, decontamination areas, and rehab, fitness, dining, and rest areas. The EMS suite adds an ambulance bay, storage, day room, kitchen alcove, and showers.
